Feeding a family without going over the grocery budget is a tough challenge these days, but these 5 family dinners are not only delicious, they’re very budget friendly, too. I spent around $75 at my Walmart and Sprouts and made 5 dinners for my family of 5, but these are not bare minimum meals. These are generous serving sizes for our family with 2 adults and 3 teenagers, plus they’re super tasty, and meals my family eats on repeat.

I have been changing the way I grocery shop, meal plan, and even cook. My kids aren’t little any more and managing the grocery budget and the meal plan looks a little different with teenagers. In this video I’m sharing 5 mindset shifts and strategies I’m using to buy groceries, plan meals, and manage the kitchen chaos as my family grows into a new season. These aren’t groundbreaking or even difficult. It’s just about small changes and “tweaks” to the old way that is helping me navigate this new season. And honestly, some of these tips and strategies are probably useful in almost any season, especially as we are all bracing for price rises in groceries and inflation.

About Me//
If you’re looking for extraordinary, you’ve come to the wrong place. I’m just a regular ole’ gal in the middle of America, follower of Christ, wife to Daniel, and mom to three delightful children: Ruthie, McKenna, and Brick. In 2018, Daniel and I packed up our family and moved across the state to Tulsa. I decided to take a brief hiatus from my teaching career and start a YouTube channel as a new hobby and creative outlet. My “brief hiatus” became indefinite as the channel grew, and I knew where God was calling me: to make helpful content that is kind, positive, and realistic.
